BACKGROUND

  • PhD in Computer Engineering and Communications, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain (2007 - 2011 ).

Thesis topic: "Design and evaluation of Embodied Conversational Agents in Interactive

Systems". Following a design and evaluation approach my Thesis analyses a full scope of aspects, from

benefits to difficulties and limitations, relevant to the inclusion of Embodied Conversational Agents in

two specific application areas: task-oriented spoken language dialogue systems (SLDSs) (from a classical

research approach) and educational applications for children with Cerebral Palsy (from a co-design

         approach).

Thesis supervisor: Prof.Dr. Luis A. Hernández Gómez

  • Certificate of Advanced Studies in Computer Enginnering and Communications, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain (2005-2007)
